The presence of human remains was reported on Friday at Breezy Point Beach, a beach in New York City (United States).
According to the first elements of the investigation, they could be those of an Irish director who went missing earlier this month, report several American media, including NBC News.
Authorities responded to Breezy Point Beach midday Friday after receiving a call reporting the discovery of a body without arms or head on the sand.
For the moment, the remains have not been able to be formally identified. However, the authorities seem to think that it could be the remains of Irish director Ross McDonnell, 41, based in New York.
