A 34-year-old man has just been sentenced to 707 years in prison for abusing 16 young boys in his care, the Orange County prosecutor’s office reports in a press release.
The individual worked as a babysitter in Southern California for several years. It was in this context that he committed the abuse for which he was convicted, on young boys aged 2 to 12, between 2014 and 2019.
“He also filmed several of these attacks and allegedly showed pornography to a 17th victim,” authorities said.
The man was arrested on May 17, 2019 by investigators from the Laguna Beach Police Department, after he had just completed an international flight. At that time, he was suspected of having already molested two children.
