The Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court has sentenced a bricklayer to life imprisonment for deflowering a 13-year-old girl in Agbawaye Street, Agbado Oke-Odo Command Area of the state, Nigeria.
“The victim was asked to be seen by her aunt when she arrived at the place, she found the suspect,” according to her.
“The suspect forcefully pushed her on the mat and had his way with her,” she said to the court.
“His offences contravened the provisions of Sections 127 and 261 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State, 2015,” according to the prosecution.
The defendant is hereby found guilty and is sentenced to life imprisonment on each of the two counts, Justice Abiola Soladoye said.
