An abandoned baby boy has been rescued in the bush near the Bole customs barrier on the Bole-Bamboi highway in the Savannah region, Ghana.
“The baby was found by a young man who was relaxing in the bush when he heard the cry of a baby,” according to Adom News.
“He drew closer and saw the baby lying in the bush wrapped in a cloth,” it stated.
The police was informed and rushed to the scene to pick up the baby to the Bole district hospital.
“The baby is still at the hospital doing well,” according to the crime officer, ASP Wisdom Pavis.
“We are yet to get in touch with the Bole district social welfare to decide the way forward,” he added.
