12-year-old boy convicted of murder of 60-year-old woman

A 13-year-old boy pleaded guilty on Tuesday October 3 in Sheffield, northern England, admitting to having killed a 60-year-old woman last April by hitting her while he was driving the victim’s car.

The sixty-year-old woman was discovered dead in front of her home on April 5, visibly hit by her own car.

Immediately, the authorities arrested a young teenager, aged 12 at the time, who was driving the victim’s car at the time of the tragedy, the BBC and The Independent reported.

While he has so far denied the facts, the young boy was to be tried last week for “murder”.

He eventually pleaded guilty at Sheffield Crown Court, saying he caused the woman’s death by dangerous driving.
