A fetish priest killed his wife and stabbed himself

A 62-year-old fetish priest has murdered his 25-year-old junior wife for alleged suspicion of infidelity in Pru East District of Bono East Region, Ghana.

“The man therefore stabbed the woman to death and later committed suicide by stabbing himself too,” reports said.

“The man suspected that his wife had been having extramarital affairs with other men in the area.”

The incident had created shock and dismay in the community as residents did not expect that he could commit such a heinous act.

Mr. Yussif Sulemana, the Assemblyman for the area advised the residents to exercise restraint in approaching and dealing with marital issues of such nature to avert the loss of lives.
