A 16-year-old girl was crushed to death by a tanker as she was trying to cross the road in Minna, the state capital, Nigeria, according to reports.
“A Mercedes Benz vehicle with number plate SUL 140 AJ driven by a 35-year-old man was coming from Mandela Road heading to Shiroro Roundabout,” reports said
“He drove recklessly and scratched a Toyota Yaris vehicle with number plate RJA 375 AA,” it stated.
The Benz, in the process, hit the victim who was trying to cross the road
The deceased was taken to General Hospital Minna, where she was confirmed dead.
The drivers were arrested and taken to Tudum Wada Police Division for further investigation, while the corpse was deposited at the Minna General Hospital’s morgue.
