A 30-year-old man was arraigned before an Isolo Magistrate’s Court in Lagos for stabbing one Justice with a knife at Ago Okota, Nigeria.
The state police command arraigned the suspect on three counts of assault, assault occasioning bodily harm and attempted murder.
“The action is considered an offence under Section 170 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria 2015,” according to the prosecutor, Ojie Uagbale.
However, the defendant pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.
The Magistrate, A. Akokhia, granted him bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties and ordered that he remain in Kirikiri Custodial Centre until the bail conditions were met.
