Men of the Edo State Police Command have arrested a 24-year-old final-year student of the University of Port Harcourt for stabbing his girlfriend to death in Nigeria.
“The suspect and his late girlfriend have locked themselves inside the house when the violence broke out and started stabbing each other,” the suspect’s landlord said.
“The suspect stabbed the deceased in the neck and chest with a knife,” reports said.
“Her girlfriend accused him of being a kidnapper and he was angered by the accusation,” according to the suspect.
The suspect has been arrested and investigation is ongoing.
