Man executed for having tortured and killed his father

An American national convicted of torturing and killing his Egyptian father was executed on Wednesday, the official Saudi news agency SPA reported.

“Bishoy Sharif Naji Naseef, of American nationality, was executed in the Riyadh region,” the agency added, quoting a press release from the interior ministry of the Saudi kingdom, one of the countries which has the most recourse to capital punishment around the world.

A Saudi court has found that Bishoy Sharif Naji Naseef, whose age has not been specified, beat, tortured and strangled his Egyptian father and mutilated his body, according to the same source.

He also used drugs and attempted to kill another person, the report said.
