The remains of 13 bodies found in fridges

The remains of at least 13 human bodies have been found in refrigerators in the Mexican city of Poza Rica near Veracruz, a region plagued by narco-violence, a judicial source said on Monday.

The bodies were found by police who were chasing a man inside a building housing three kidnapped people.

In this building, they found the human remains scattered inside black bags in several refrigerators. Human remains were also found in other accommodations.

“Six people were arrested, probably related to these facts,” said the Veracruz state prosecutor in a brief statement to the press.
