Former US President Donald Trump denounced an “unprecedented instrumentalization of justice”, before his appearance Thursday in court in Washington.
The Republican will be notified of the charges against him after his third indictment for trying to reverse the results of the 2020 election.
On his Truth Social network, the billionaire accused his Democratic rival Joe Biden of being behind these new legal proceedings.
“It’s not my fault that my political opponent in the Democratic Party, crooked Joe Biden, asked his attorney general to indict the most prominent Republican candidate and former president of the United States (by far !),” wrote Donald Trump.
