Men of the Borno State Police Command have arrested 10 persons for killing a police constable in Maiduguri, the state capital, Nigeria.
“The suspects were two females and eight males,” reports said.
The officer killed was attached to the command’s fissure police unit and deployed in Malari, in the Konduga local government area of Etata.
“The police constable, who came home on permission, was stabbed with a sharp object on his back by his assailants,” according to the state Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Yusufu.
Police undercover operatives obtained a video clip of the incident from a good Samaritan which led to the arrest of the suspects.
An investigation will be carried out before the suspects are brought to justice.
