Joe Biden’s son pleads guilty to tax fraud

In the crosshairs of the US justice system, Joe Biden’s son pleaded guilty to tax fraud and illegal possession of firearms in two cases, after cutting a deal with the Delaware District Attorney’s office.

Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden, is going through a complicated time.

Facing justice in two cases, Hunter Biden has finally pleaded guilty.

The first case is federal income tax fraud, in 2017 and 2018, for sums since repaid.

The second case relates to the acquisition of a firearm in 2018, when he was a regular crack user, an addiction he did not mention in his statement.

“From what I understand, Hunter’s five-year investigation is resolved… I know Hunter feels it’s important to take responsibility for mistakes made during a period of turmoil and addiction in his life. He intends to continue his recovery and move forward,” said Chris Clark, Hunter Biden’s attorney.

Not surprisingly, President Joe Biden expressed his support for his son in a statement from the White House.
