Police officer kills four colleagues in a police station

A civilian police inspector from the Brazilian state of Ceara (north) shot and killed four of his colleagues on Sunday in the police station where they worked, authorities said.

The crime took place on Sunday in Camocim, 354 kilometers from Fortaleza, the capital of Ceará, police said on Instagram.

The suspect, who was on leave, fled in a police vehicle after committing the quadruple murder

“He then went to a military police barracks,” a security official from the municipality told local news portal G1.

Authorities are investigating the motive for the killing.
