The famous Nigeria artist Tiwa Savage has been invited in the United Kingdom as King Charles III will be crowned on May 6 at Westminster Abbey in London.
Tiwa Savage will represent Africa at the great coronation ceremony of King Charles III scheduled for May 6, 2023 at Westminster Abbey in London.
While several artists have been invited from around the world to grace this prestigious ceremony, Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage will be the only female and African voice participating in this event.
She will perform on the grounds of Windsor Castle in front of a crowd of 20,000 people.
Very happy to have been invited to this event, the talented Nigerian artist expressed herself on her Instagram account.
“Truly an honor to represent Africa and the Commonwealth at such a historic event,” she wrote.
As a reminder, the former prince became King to replace his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away in September 2022 after a 70-year reign.
