Suspected cultists killed a 23-year-old man

A 23-year-old commercial tricycle operator has lost his life as he was killed by members of a secret cult in Ilorin, Kwara State capital of Nigeria, reports said.

The victim’s corpse was found dumped in front of a mosque in the Abayawo area of Ilorin.

“The assailants cut off his hand and plucked one of his eyes before dumping his corpse,” reports said.

“The victim was shot and his left eye and left hand were removed during a cult attack,” according to eyewitnesses.

The development was said to have led to panic among residents of Abayawo and Gambari communities.
