Man arrested for burying three-year-old child alive

A 30-year-old man from Sabuwar Santa in Musawa Local Government Area of Katsina State has been arrested after allegedly abducting and burying a three-year-old boy alive in Nigeria.

“The suspect was have buried the abducted boy alive despite collecting N150,000 out of the N800,000 ransom he demanded from his father,” reports said.

“He was arrested following a tip-off and had allegedly confessed to having committed the offense,” according to the spokesman for the Katsina State Police Command, CSP Gambo Isah.

“During the investigation, he confessed to the commission of the offense and further confessed to having buried the child alive after receiving the ransom.”

An investigation had already commenced into the incident, according to CSP Gambo Isah.
