A Brazilian woman spent ten hours in a grave before her cries for help enabled workers at the Visconde do Rio Branco cemetery, about 100 kilometers north of Rio de Janeiro, to save her.
The 36-year-old woman told police that she was attacked at her home and beaten up by three men who accused her of having “misplaced” drugs and weapons that she stored for them at her home, The Independent reported.
Her husband was also present during the attack, but managed to escape.
Finding that their victim had fainted, they took her to the city cemetery before placing her in a grave which they sealed.
The young woman explains that she realized that she was trapped when she regained consciousness.
