Man arrested for defiling a 10-year-old girl

A 45-year-old man has been arrested for defiling a 10-year-old girl in the Idoani community, the Ose Local Government Area of the state in Nigeria.

“The victim was lured to an uncompleted building by the suspect where he had carnal knowledge of her after giving her N100,” report said.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Funmi Odunlami, disclosed this in an interview with journalists in Akure, the state capital.

“A case of defilement was reported against 45-year-old man and he was subsequently arrested by security operatives,” according to her.

“The suspect claimed that the girl usually comes with her friend to collect N100 from him daily and that while she was asking for the money he drew her closer and had carnal knowledge of her,” according to the victim.
