A 16-year-old girl has been arrested for pushing a 52-year-old woman to death in Isolo, in the Akure area of the state in Nigeria, according to reports.
“The suspect, after taking her bath didn’t cover her hair so the deceased to her to cover it and it led to the altercation,” reports said.
The argument degenerated into a scuffle, and the teenager pushed her and she fell to death.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Funmilayo Odunlami, confirmed the incident, adding that investigation into the case had commenced.
“The case has been transferred to State Criminal Investigative Department for further investigation,” the PPRO stated.
The deceased had been buried according to the Islamic rites.
