An 82-year-old woman, pronounced dead in a New York nursing home, was found breathing three hours later at the funeral home where she had been transferred on Saturday.
After noticing that the octogenarian was still alive, she was transferred to the hospital, according to a police statement relayed by CBS News.
Nothing has been communicated as to her state of health, for the moment.
An investigation has been opened by the attorney general’s office and also by the state health department to understand what happened.
Because this is not the first time that such an incident has occurred.
