Robber kills resident for raising the alarm

Police have arrested a 27-year-old suspected robber who allegedly stabbed a resident to death in the Aguda area of Surulere, Lagos State, Nigeria, according to reports.

“The deceased raised the alarm when he saw the suspect loosening a car silencer and trying to steal the catalyst,” report said.

In order to shut him up, the suspect stabbed him in the shoulder with a knife.

The deceased was rushed to a hospital, where he died and his corpse deposited in the Infectious Disease Hospital Morgue, Yaba.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident.
