A man has reportedly beaten his girlfriend to death at Ogobiri community in the Sagbama Local Government Area of the state, Nigeria.
“The two lovers had a serious disagreement which resulted in a fight,” according to residents
“He might have hit the lady badly, which caused her to bleed to death,” they suspected.
The elder sister of the deceased who got wind of the incident caught the suspect and alerted a nearby police station.
The father of the deceased rushed her to the Federal Medical Centre, Yenagoa, where she was confirmed dead.
The suspect is in custody.
