A Catholic priest was burned to death following an attack by armed men in the village of Kafin-Koro, Niger State, according to reports.
“Several armed men burned down the priest’s residence after failing to reach it,” according to information.
The body of Father Isaac Achi was found burned after the house was set on fire.
The assailants shot and wounded another priest as he tried to escape. He was immediately taken to the hospital.
The bandits also kidnapped five Catholic worshipers in this attack.
