A 19-year-old boy has been arraigned before an Ota Magistrates Court in Ogun State for stealing valuables worth N4 million in Nigeria, according to reports.
Police charged him with burglary and theft after he was handed over to them by the vigilance group that apprehended him.
The defendant invaded a house and stole one flat-screen TV, generator parts, and other valuables worth N4 million, according to reports.
The prosecutor said the offenses violated Sections 411(1)(2) and 412 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ogun, 2006.
The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
He was granted a bail of N100,000.
