One dead and several injured in an accident in Ghana

A female passenger died instantly while 13 others were seriously injured in an accident that occurred when the driver overtook on the Kasoa-Cape Coast Highway in the Central Region of Ghana.

“They were travelling from Agona Swedru to Takoradi when the accident occured,” according to Adom News.

The car did several somersaults before landing in the ditch, resulting in the death of a passenger.

The Ghana National Fire Service Apam Station rushed to the scene to rescue some passengers who were stuck in the vehicle.

They are currently receiving treatment at the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital, Apam St Lucks Catholic Hospital and Mankessim Hospital respectively.
