27-year-old woman beaten to death in Buduburam

A 27-year-old lady was beaten to death during a fight at Buduburam in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region, Ghana, according to reports.

It is not clear what led to the scuffle but she suffered severe injuries in the ear and bruises on the face and neck.

The lady was rushed to the St Gregory Hospital where she died, according to Adom News.

Meanwhile, police have arrested one suspect to assist with investigations.

This decision follows a renewed call by the chiefs and people of Gomoa for the demolition of the Liberian camp.

The Chief of Buduburam lamented that the once peaceful area is now the headquarters of criminal activities.

The chief therefore asked the government to urgently demolish the center to save lives and property.
