Two children abandoned by their mothers were rescued by the Lagos State Police Command in the Marina area of the state.
Marina’s patrol team saw the two underage boys on the highway about to be run over by high-speed vehicles.
The children were identified as five-year-old and three-year-old.
“The boys disclosed that their mother boarded a car and left them,” the command wrote.
They had been taken to the Adeniji-Adele Police Division to be reunited with their parents.
