Emmanuel Macron paid a visit to the United States

French president Emmanuel Macron has arrived in Washington for a five-day visit even though the climate has been somehow tense between the EU and the United States in recent days due to some trade disputes.

The French president is scheduled to hold a meeting with his U.S. counterpart Joe Biden during the visit, Agence France-Presse reported.

According to information from John Kirby, strategic communications coordinator for the White House National Security Council, Emmanuel Macron is expected to visit Nasa headquarters with U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris.

But the most anticipated moment of his working visit remains his meeting with U.S. President Joe Biden.

During this meeting, the two leaders will have the opportunity to talk about sensitive issues such as the situation in Ukraine and the price paid by Europe while the Americans benefit.

In addition, the two Presidents will discuss the issue of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
