Two detained and 6 released following the death of Davido’s son

Nigeria’s Police Service said it detained two people and released six others who worked at popstar Davido’s home, following the death of his son.

Following the tragic death of the singer’s three-year-old son, eight domestic staff of Davido have been arrested.

The singer’s son, Ifeanyi Adeleke reportedly drowned in a pool at his father’s home on Tuesday.

Lagos Police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed that the drowning happened at Davido’s residence as well as the arrest of eight people who work in the house.

According to him an investigation into the matter has started.

Yes, we have invited eight people over the death of his son, Mr Hundeyin told the media on Tuesday.

In a new report, 2 out of the eight have been detained by the police whilst the remaining six have been freed. “Police release six of Davido’s domestic staff, detain two,” a Nigerian news portal, YabaleftOnline, reported.
