A 27-year-old man beat his girlfriend to death with a pestle at Dodo Amanfrom in Kadjebi Akan district of Ghana’s Oti region, AdomNews reported.
The 24-year-old victim was found in her own pool of blood on her boyfriend’s bedroom bed as her mouth was swollen with blood everywhere.
The suspect hit her in the head with a pestle after she ended a phone call he suspected was another man, the website reported.
Some residents said the two lovers often engaged in quarrels.
