Cameroon: 25 weapons seized in a church, the pastor “gang leader” arrested

Arrested on July 18 and detained at the Yaoundé Judicial Police Directorate, photos of Pastor Michel Julio Effa Effa have been flooding social networks for a few days.

Yesterday a man of God and today an odious man, this retired army captain is suspected of having ordered the robbery and torture a month ago of Jean Sylvain Mvondo, director of Public Investment Planning.

The case is making headlines in Cameroon. This is the seizure of weapons of war and ammunition in the Jean Baptiste Church of Cameroon (EJBC) in the city of Sangmélima, led by Michel Julio Effa Effa.

According to local media, the pastor was arrested and arrested in his village Aka in Esse, nearly 7 km from Sangmélima, after a thorough search in his church where the police discovered a cache of weapons.

And these are a total of 25 weapons of war seized during this operation.

It should be recalled that during the operation carried out by the police, objects belonging to Jean Sylvain Mvondo were found at the pastor’s.

Police sources have not yet communicated on this case.
