A court in Koforidua, eastern Ghana, convicted and sentenced two armed robbers, aged 47 and 38, to 30 years each in prison with hard labour.
According to adomonline.com, the convicts attacked and robbed a resident of Klo-Agogo, in the amount of 4,500.00 GHC.
The bandits also attacked and robbed a teacher and an Assemblyman for Owura High Electoral Area of their mobile phones.
The convicts had pleaded not guilty to the charges proffered against them, but the court presided over by Justice Mercy Addei Kotei found them guilty.
