Kenya: United Arab Emirates flight ban lifted

Kenya: United Arab Emirates flight ban lifted

Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) Chief Executive Gilbert Kibe has announced the lifting of the ban on all flights from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Monday.

Kenya has suspended all inbound and transit passenger flights from the United Arabs Emirates, two weeks ago.

The ban did not affect cargo flights, which continue with normal operations.

It was reciprocating UAE’s ban on all passenger flights from Kenya over allegations that some Kenyan travellers had tested positive for Covid on arrival in Dubai yet they had certificates indicating that they did not have the virus.

The UAE is yet to lift its ban on Kenyan flights.
