“All American adults will be eligible for a vaccine by May 1”, said Joe Biden

In his first primetime address to the nation as US president, Joe Biden said his goal is to get the country “closer to normal” by 4 July, so Americans can celebrate Independence Day with their loved ones.

This is the main announcement of his speech to the nation this Thursday evening. President Biden will “order” all states to lift age restrictions on vaccination.

All adults will be eligible “no later than May 1,” according to the US president who specifies: “It does not mean that you will be vaccinated immediately but that you will be able to queue” to get an appointment.
