Uganda: Open war between Bobi Wine and the president’s son on Twitter

Ugandan opponent Bobi Wine has reacted curtly to the president’s son, Muhoozi Kainerugaba after the latter posted a comic strip on Twitter in which they were fighting over a Yoweri Museveni shoe.

Cartoon characters debate which foot is best suited for the shoe of longtime president Yoweri Museveni, now 77.

It was tweeted by Gen Kainerugaba, whom Bobi Wine in turn criticized for thinking “Uganda is one of your father’s properties that you must inherit”:

Speculations said the 47-year-old could be a possible successor to his 77-year-old father, who has been in power since 1986.
