AFCON 2021: Malawi’s president Chakwera’s promise to the national team

Malawi President Lazarus Chakwera has made a special promise to the players of the national team if they manage to win the match against Senegal, the third day of Pool B, during the AFCON 2021.

On Twitter, the president said if Flames advance to the Round of 16, all featured players will receive K1 million and those on the bench 500,000K:

Malawi challenges Senegal this Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Kouekong Stadium in Bafoussam as part of the 3rd day of Pool B in CAN 2021. This meeting promises to be decisive for the Flames who need a victory to qualify for the Round of 16.
