A man believed to be in his 30s was found with his head completely crushed in the Savannah Region, Ghana, according to reports.
Tension has gripped the town of Buipe in the Savannah Region following the discovery of the man’s lifeless body along the Buipe-Kintampo highway.
Residents who came across the body described the scene as both disturbing and mysterious.
Police officers arrived at the scene shortly after receiving the report and have since transported the body to the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) mortuary for preservation and identification.
Authorities say investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of death and to establish the identity of the deceased.
Meanwhile, residents have been urged to remain calm as police work to unravel the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
