A fatal accident has claimed the lives of two people and injured others in East Legon, Accra, Ghana, according to reports.
The Ghana Police Service has begun an investigation into the fatal accident.
A preliminary investigation has identified the suspect driver as Salifu Amoako, who rammed his vehicle into another vehicle on Dzanie Ashie Street at East Legon, according to police reports.
“Both vehicles caught fire and burnt beyond recognition,” the police added.
The statement added that, the driver and other surviving victims are currently receiving medical attention.
“Meanwhile, one of the surviving victims has since been treated and discharged, while the bodies of the deceased victims have been deposited at the morgue for preservation and autopsy,” reports noted.
