Ayra Starr, the famous Nigerian singer, recently clarified her relationship with Rema in an interview with the American pop channel Much Music.
They’re obviously friends.
She stressed that they have no romantic relationship, but that she considers him a brother and a source of inspiration.
She expressed admiration for his achievements in the music industry and called him a “GOAT” and close friend.
“Of all the famous people I know, who is my closest friend? I’d say someone who never ceases to inspire me. And he’s a very good friend to me and a brother.”
“I wouldn’t say he’s a mentor, but he’s someone who does the same thing I do, but at the same time, he was there before me. And he knows how to move and he continues to inspire me. That’s Rema.”
“Dedication to Rema. He’s my GOAT. He’s my guy. He’s my friend,” she declared.
