In the midst of her Pink Friday 2 world tour, Nicki Minaj was arrested at Amsterdam airport in the Netherlands on Saturday, May 25, on suspicion of carrying marijuana in her luggage.
“Nicki Minaj prepared to leave the country for Manchester, where she was due to perform that evening,” reports said.
The doors to Co-Op Live opened at 7pm, and Minaj was due to take to the stage an hour later.
However, as fans continued to wait, the announcement finally came around 9:30pm that Minaj would not be performing after all.
The venue then issued an official update: “Nicki Minaj’s scheduled performance at Manchester’s Co-Op Live on Saturday May 25 has been postponed,” they wrote.
“Tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled performance which will be announced as soon as possible.”
