Man found dead in stagnant water

A man has been found dead in stagnant water at Juaboso in the Western North Region, Ghana, according to reports.

According to reports, the man left home about two days ago, and his whereabouts had been unknown until the discovery.

Some children who had gone fishing spotted his lifeless body lying face down in a pool of stagnant water, reports said.

Residents familiar with the deceased shared that he had previously been involved in an accident that left one of his arms injured.

Known locally as a mason, he was regarded as a stranger in the community, with no one aware of his family background.

The body has been deposited at the Juaboso Government Hospital mortuary for preservation and further investigation.
