Unidentified gunmen attacked a local drinking establishment in Binduri Down, Upper East Region, Ghana, on Sunday March 23, 2025, killing six people.
According to a report, three of the victims were pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital, while the remaining three are receiving treatment at the Bawku Presbyterian Hospital.
Eyewitnesses say the assailants, who arrived on motorbikes, opened fire on customers before fleeing the scene.
The motive behind the attack remains unclear.
However, it is believed to be linked to a recent shooting in Atuba, which claimed two lives. That incident was reportedly connected to the ongoing Bawku conflict.
