The Digital Quality of Life Index 2024 ranking shows the progress made by many countries over the period 2019-2024.
Five criteria were taken into account: Internet affordability, quality of Internet connection, state of digital infrastructure (e-infrastructure), level of e-security and implementation of e-government. Each pillar has a weighting of 20%.
No African country comes close to the average. In the age of artificial intelligence, this lag is worrying.
