An airline soon to link the 3 capitals

Niger’s Minister of Transport and Equipment, Colonel-major Salissou Mahaman Salissou, recently announced the forthcoming creation of a national airline and another under the aegis of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES).

This project aims to strengthen links between member countries by facilitating intra-regional travel.

“Our country is very vast, and we have instructed the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) to relax certain legal provisions in order to facilitate the establishment of these companies,” declared Minister Salissou Mahaman Salissou on February 2.

In fact, a committee has been set up to simplify administrative procedures in order to speed up the process of obtaining the certificates required to operate these airlines.

For the Niger Minister, the establishment of the ESA Confederation airline is a priority.
