A 45-year-old taxi driver was found dead in a resident of Akyem Oda Old Town in the Birim Central Municipality of the Eastern Region of Ghana.
“He was found with his hands and legs bound together in an uncompleted building,” according to reports.
“The deceased left home for work on the evening of Monday, October 21, 2024, but did not return,” Adom News said.
On Friday, October 25, the Akyem Swedru Police, led by the District Commander, Philip Nketia, was notified by residents of the area about a body found in the uncompleted building.
Upon inspection, the deceased was identified as the missing taxi driver.
The deceased, a married father of three, was well-known in Akyem Oda and its surroundings as a good and reliable man.
His family has appealed to the Police to conduct a thorough investigation into his mysterious death.
