A man has been arrested for the alleged murder of his partner as the incident occurred in the deceased residence, in Takoradi, Ghana, according to reports.
“The two men had a relationship and met regularly in Accra,” according to the suspect.
“They had agreed on a payment of thirty thousand cedis for their sexual relationship,” he said.
However, after the agreement, the deceased reduced the payment to twenty thousand cedis, which led to a confrontation.
“A fight ensued when the deceased threatened him with a knife, resulting in his death,” he claims.
After the incident, the suspect fled with the deceased’s cell phone and vehicle.
Police were alerted to the incident and tracked down the suspect, who was subsequently arrested.
