An 8-year-old boy was killed by his 20-year-old brother in a bush near Kwamo, in the municipality of Ejisu, in the Ashanti region of Ghana.
After the gruesome act, the suspect returned home to inform his uncle about the murder.
According to him, “he was possessed by a spirit when he manipulated his younger brother to follow him to the remote location where he killed and tried to dispose off the body”.
“The uncle of the suspect expressed shock at the gruesome act,” according to Adom News.
Though he admitted the suspect smokes marijuana, known in local parlance as weed, he never saw this coming.
Meanwhile, the almost decapitated body of the boy has since been found and deposited at the mortuary.
