Mali: Ambassadors visit Assimi Goïta

Mali’s transitional government welcomed two new ambassadors yesterday, Tuesday October 15, 2024, who were received by President Assimi Goïta at the presidential palace.

Assimi Goïta granted an audience to Cheick Oumar Coulibaly, Mali’s new representative in Nigeria, and to Mamary Camara, recently appointed Mali’s ambassador to Rwanda.

During the meeting, the new authorities familiarized themselves with the missions entrusted to them, and gave them specific directives for strengthening cooperative relations with these two countries.

The discussions, marked by strategic advice, helped to define the main directions of their diplomatic mandates.

The ambassadors expressed their pride in serving Mali, and pledged to work to develop and strengthen bilateral relations with their countries of assignment.
